How do I book online?

Visit https://booking.portseattle.org and follow the four steps to pre-book your parking in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) Parking Garage. Once your booking is complete, you will receive a Booking Confirmation email including your booking reference and booking code (QR code). The QR code is required to enter and exit the garage. The booking reference is essential if you later need to review, amend or cancel your booking.

Can I book online for all SEA Airport’s parking products?

At this time, the Pre-Booked Parking website offers General Parking and Terminal Direct parking products dependent upon their expected availability during the period you wish to book. Online bookings are not currently available for our Passport Parking and Premier Corporate Parking products.

Can I book online short stay/hourly parking? 

At this time, we are not offering short stay/hourly parking rates on the Pre-Booked Parking website. You will be charged the full-day rate for any portion of a day booked via the website. We may offer short stay/hourly parking in the future.

Ex. You book a same-day parking stay in your selected parking product for tomorrow, entering at 8am and leaving at 12pm. You be charged the full-day rate for this period of time vs. for a four-hour stay for drive-up parking.

Can I book accessible (ADA) parking online?

At this time, accessible (ADA) parking cannot be booked online. Accessible parking is available for holders of valid permits or license plates in the airport garage, including designated Pre-Booked Parking areas, on a first-come, first-serve basis. You should book your preferred parking product and find an accessible parking stall in the designated area.

If no accessible parking stalls are currently available in your Pre-Booked Parking area, proceed to an available ADA stall location in parking areas on Floor 5 in General Parking or Floor 4 in Terminal Direct.

Can I book over-height parking online?

At this time, over-height parking cannot be booked online. Over-height parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The height limit for vehicles entering the Airport Garage is 6’10.” Over-height vehicles can access this parking area via Highway 99 / International Blvd. from the north or south. Follow the signs marked "Over-Height Parking" from the Airport Expressway. At the entry plaza, use the open lane on the far right and take a ticket from the machine. After the gate opens, drive in and park in any of the 60-plus stalls in the outdoor area. The lot is within walking distance to the terminal.

Can I reserve a specific parking stall in the garage?

At this time, you cannot reserve a specific parking stall in the garage. You will still be required to find an open stall on entry.

Am I guaranteed a parking stall by booking online?

By pre-booking your parking online, you are paying for your parking in advance. At this time, we cannot fully guarantee that a parking stall will be available at all times in the garage. However, we will make every attempt possible to have a stall available for your use in the designated Pre-Booked Parking area of the garage for the parking product booked (General Parking or Terminal Direct) at the time and date indicated in your Booking Confirmation email. You will still be required to find an open stall on entry.

In the rare instance that the garage is at maximum occupancy and you are unable to find a stall, your parking will be fully refunded to you.

How do I know my booking has been accepted?

On completion of the online booking process, an email with your booking confirmation details will be sent to the email address you provided when making your booking.

This confirmation sets out the details of your Booking and includes your unique booking reference and the booking code (QR code) you will use to enter/exit the garage.

What should I do if I don't receive a booking confirmation at the end of the booking process or a Booking Confirmation email?

In this case, the Booking has not been completed successfully and the process should be carefully repeated.

If you completed the booking process successfully but did not receive an Booking Confirmation email, please check your email Spam or Trash folder to ensure that it is not blocking certain emails or classifying the email as spam. If you do not receive a Booking Confirmation email within 10 minutes of completing your Booking, please contact Pre-Booked Parking Customer Service via email at parkingbookings@portseattle.org or via phone at 206-787-4888.

Please make sure to keep your Booking Confirmation email as it contains your booking reference and booking code (QR code). Using this number, you can check your Booking online any time before you travel and can amend or cancel the Booking up to 2 hours before your planned Entry Date/Time at the parking garage.

How do I know my booking details are secure?

The details you provide are encrypted to prevent them being read over the Internet. This is indicated by the padlock symbol and “https://” designation in the URL.

How close to my date/time of travel can I book parking?

The Pre-Booked Parking website will accept bookings up to 12 hours prior to the Entry Date/Time at the parking garage.

How far in advance can I book parking?

You may make a booking up to 180 days in advance of your planned Entry Date/Time at the parking garage.

What is the minimum booked length of stay?

The minimum booked length of stay is one day (24 hours) or any part thereof.

What is the maximum booked length of stay?

The maximum booked length of stay is 180 days. If you will be parking for a longer duration, please contact Pre-Booked Parking Customer Service via email at parkingbookings@portseattle.org or via phone at 206-787-4888.

 

2. Managing Your Booking

Is it possible to amend or cancel a booking?

Yes, it is possible to amend or cancel a booking. To do so, go to the Manage My Booking section of the Pre-Booked Parking website.

You will need the booking reference from your Booking Confirmation email and the email address you provided during the booking process in order to access your booking. You can amend/cancel your Booking up to 2 hours in advance of your Booking Entry Date/Time without penalty.

If you decide to extend your parking stay, the website will treat this as a new Booking and your original Booking will be canceled and payment method refunded. The price charged for the new Booking will be based on garage occupancy and products available at that point and may not offer the same rates as when the initial Booking was made.

What is the cancellation or refund policy for booking online?

You may cancel your Booking for any reason and obtain a refund at any time, up to 2 hours in advance of your Booking Entry Date/Time by logging into your account and selecting the relevant options. Refunds are only made to the credit/debit card that paid for the Booking.

If you do not have an online account or you have been unable to successfully cancel your Booking via your online account, contact Pre-Booked Parking Customer Service via email at parkingbookings@portseattle.org or via phone at 206-787-4888. Please include your name, contact information and booking reference in the body of your email.

Please note that our regular cancellation rules will apply. You will be charged in full for your Booking if you cancel it within 2 hours of the start of the Booking Entry Date/Time.

What happens if my trip is longer than the period of time that I booked online?

You may amend your Booking up to 2 hours in advance of your Booking Entry Date/Time without penalty.

one-hour grace period is included on your booking entry and exit dates/times for the time purchased online in advance. If you exceed your pre-booked parking period, you will be charged at exit for the over-stay duration at the current posted public parking rates. This will require additional payment on exit.

When you exit the parking garage, the parking system will read your booking code (QR code), check your booking details and calculate the pre-booked duration of your stay. If you have over-stayed your pre-booked time, the system will determine whether any additional payment is due. You will be required to insert a credit/debit card to pay the amount due prior to being able to exit the garage.

What happens if my trip is shorter than the period of time that I booked online?

You may amend your Booking up to 2 hours in advance of your Booking Entry Date/Time without penalty.

No refunds are provided for shorter stays once your booking period commences.

 

3. Payment for Your Booking

When I book online will I be charged right away or when I exit the parking lot?

Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of booking to confirm your rate for advance payment.

Can I use the same credit/debit card for more than one reservation?

Yes, you may use the same card for multiple bookings.

What methods of payment can I use to book parking online?

VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Apple Pay.

What are the Airport’s current posted public parking rates?

Terminal Direct (Floor 4, shortest walk to terminal)
$6/hour or $39/day (no weekly rate)

General Parking (Floors 1-3, 5-8)
$5/hour, $32/day or $149/week

How are online parking charges calculated?

Online parking charges are calculated on a per-day/24 hour basis or part thereof. Short stay, hourly and/or partial day bookings are not available at this time.

How do I get the best online price?

Get the best online price by booking your parking well in advance of your planned parking Entry Date/Time. Demand is high for our lowest priced offers and they may sell out quickly so the lowest price offered on one day may vary from what you see on a different day.

Pre-Booked Parking prices are subject to change. Therefore, the price is only valid at the time you obtain your quote.

Do I have to pay a booking fee?

No booking fees currently apply.

Do parking rates at SEA Airport include tax?

Yes. City of SeaTac Parking Tax is $3.25 and WA State Sales Tax is 10% is included in all parking rates displayed online or at the airport.

Do I have to pay a fee to amend or cancel my booking?

You may amend or cancel your Booking up to 2 hours in advance of your Booking Entry Date/Time without penalty.

You will be charged in full for your Booking if you cancel within 2 hours of the start of the Booking Entry Date/Time.

I need a receipt for my parking. How do I get one?
Your receipt is included in your Booking Confirmation email.

If you have an online account, Login on the Pre-Booked Parking website, navigate to My Dashboard, click the View Booking button on the booking you need a receipt for and click the Resend Confirmation button.

If you do not have an online account or have been unable to successfully locate your Booking Confirmation email, contact Pre-Booked Parking Customer Service via email at parkingbookings@portseattle.org or via phone at 206-787-4888. Please include your name, contact information and booking reference in the body of your email.

 

4. Using Your Booking

What do I need to bring with me when traveling to the parking garage?

Please bring your Booking Confirmation email with the booking code (QR code) on it (either on your mobile device or a printed copy). If you have an Apple iPhone, you can create a parking pass for your Apple Wallet from your Booking Confirmation email.

What do I need to do when I arrive at the parking garage?

  • Enter via any garage entry lane associated with your pre-booked parking product (General Parking or Terminal Direct).
  • Stop at the entry barrier.
  • DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON FOR A TICKET.
  • Scan your booking code (QR code) using the Barcode/QR code reader (red scanner) on the left side of the entry lane kiosk.
  • The entry lane barrier will raise when the QR code is read successfully.
  • Upon entering, park anywhere within the parking product you booked (Floors 1-3, 5-8 for General Parking or Floor 4 for Terminal Direct)

What happens if my QR code is not recognized at the entry or exit lane kiosk of the parking garage?

Press the Customer Service/Help button on the entry or exit lank kiosk and a Customer Service attendant will assist you. 

Please have your booking reference available so they can locate your booking.

If you do not know your booking reference, the Customer Service attendant will try to locate your booking using other identifiable customer information used when making your booking (ex. last name, phone, email, license plate).

What happens if I don’t have my booking reference when I arrive / depart the garage?

Your booking reference is only required if you want to review, amend or cancel your booking online before you travel. It is not required to enter and exit the parking garage.

You will need to scan your booking code (QR code) to enter and exit the garage.

Press the Customer Service/Help button on the entry or exit lank kiosk and a Customer Service attendant will assist you. 

What happens if I don’t have my QR code when I arrive / depart the garage?

Press the Customer Service/Help button on the entry or exit lank kiosk and a Customer Service attendant will assist you. 

If you have your booking reference, please have it available so the attendant can locate your Booking.

If you do not know your booking reference, the attendant will try to locate your booking using other identifiable customer information used when making your Booking (ex. last name, phone, email, license plate).

What happens if I arrive or depart outside the time I specified when making my booking?

If your vehicle is parked in the airport garage for any time outside the booking period (e.g. if you arrive early or leave late), you will be charged for the over-stay duration at the current posted public parking rates. This will require additional payment on exit.

What happens if I arrive at the entry to the garage and a sign says that parking is limited or full?

The "Full" sign is to inform customers who have not booked their parking in advance. Pre-Booked Parking customers with a valid booking will be allowed entry to the garage at all times.

Where can I park?

You may park in any stall within the parking product you booked. General Parking includes Floors 1-3,5-8. Terminal Direct is located on Floor 4.

What happens if after entering the parking garage I need to leave and re-enter the parking lot again?

Once you have used your booking code (QR code) to exit the parking garage, your Booking will be treated as completed. Should you try to re-enter the parking garage with the same QR code, it will not work.

You will be required to pull a ticket like a drive-up parking customer and start a new transaction. The current posted parking rates will then apply.
